Hebrew Theological College Goes Live on Cloud-based SIS from Enrollment Rx

Automates Higher-Education Student Relationship Management to Eliminate Data Bottlenecks and Improve Multi-campus Communication

July 18, 2011 - Enrollment Rx, an innovator of cloud-based Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) solutions for academic institutions, today announced that Hebrew Theological College (HTC) has gone live on StuTrax, a cloud-based Student Information System (SIS.) Built on a proven cloud platform, StuTrax provides HTC with a cost-effective solution to improve data sharing across multiple campuses and boost efficiencies in managing the student experience, from prospect to alumni.

The preeminent Torah institution of higher learning in the Midwest, HTC is committed to advancing scholarship in accordance with the principles of Orthodox Judaism. HTC manages more than 4,500 current and historical records from students at two campuses in Chicago and Skokie, Ill., a year abroad program in Israel, as well as a growing online division. Previously, HTC's single-user system created bottlenecks and required administrators to manually carry paper records between the men's and women's campuses. They turned to Enrollment Rx for a multi-user system in the cloud that will seamlessly track student information across multiple locations and improve communication with students, prospects, advisors and administrators, all without the financial and IT burden of traditional solutions.

"Most products of this caliber are designed for big schools and are extraordinarily expensive," said Rabbi Dr. Jerold Isenberg, Chancellor, HTC. "StuTrax is designed to be flexible, so it serves our existing processes without added costs for customization. Even better, our hardware costs were close to zero and we avoided the need to expand our IT staff around the new solution."

Built on Force.com, the leading enterprise cloud computing platform, StuTrax can be deployed at half the cost of and five times faster than traditional SIS products. StuTrax is currently being used by HTCs administrators and advisors. It will be extended to include faculty and student portals within the next 12 months. The comprehensive SIS in the cloud offering will give HTC complete transparency throughout school operations and administration, including enrollment, financial aid, tuition and billing, government reporting, class registration, and online advisory services.

"Before we implemented a cloud-based system, everyone had to work twice as hard," said Isenberg. "With StuTrax in place, we expect to see a major change in how we're doing business. StuTrax streamlines the entire enrollment-to-graduation process, which will help our college create a state-of-the-art online experience for students and staff and eliminate inefficient business practices. Greater efficiency will result in improved recruitment and communication activities, greater ease of prospect and student tracking and follow-up, as well as enhanced student advising."

"Enrollment Rx is 100 percent focused on serving the needs of academia," said Lawrence Levy, president of Enrollment Rx. "Combining proven CRM technology with an industrial strength cloud environment, our SIS in the cloud solution is a fit for schools of all types. We free customers from onerous IT deployments so they can focus their resources on running the organization more effectively."
